About Facilities Planning

The department of Facilities Planning reports to the Vice President for Finance and Planning. This department is composed of two service units, Capital Planning & Design and Construction Administration.

Overview

The Facilities Planning Department is responsible for campus master planning, the planning and construction of new buildings, additions made to existing buildings, the overall campus development, and a role in land acquisition. This department is also the liaison for all projects to the Board of Trustees at the University. The Facilities Planning department also analyzes future physical requirements of the University and coordinates the planning and construction with these facilities.
