Summary of Capital Request — Fiscal Year 2008
The University requests $203.32 million from the state capital appropriation process, including $201.82 million for five Regular Capital projects and $1.5 million for Capital Renewal projects. The Regular Capital projects are summarized in priority order below.

The University’s capital budget supports four requests as part of the state’s “Capital Renewal Program.” These funds are utilized by the University to address major repair and maintenance needs. For fiscal year 2008, the University would dedicate Capital Renewal funds for the following projects:
- Felmley Annex Roof Replacement — $350,000
- Horton Field House and University High School Substation Replacement — $600,000
- Chilled water zone interconnection – $300,000
- Economizers on Boilers — $250,000
