Project Status: Bidding

Project Budget: $85,000

Description:

The pedestrian bridge spans College Avenue and connects Milner Plaza with the main quad. The bridge's surface is in need of resurfacing to maintain its structural integrity. To avoid seams and allow proper water drainage, complete closure of the bridge is necessary for the duration of the project. Work will start in June and the project will be completed by the end of July 2008. In support of this effort, the Disability Concerns and Facilities Planning departments have developed an accessible route from the south Quad area to Milner Library. This route has been identified on the attached map. Additionally, there will be signage posted on both sides of the bridge and the interior of Bone Student Center.
