Description:

As part of the Energy Management Utility Infrastructure Plan, the University has planned a chilled water facility in the southwest zone of campus. The plant will be located at the eastern end of parking lot F24, south of the Atkin-Colby residence halls. When this facility is complete it will provide chilled water to facilities comprised of Fell Hall, College of Business Building, and the new Student Fitness and Kinesiology/ Recreation Center.

Update:

The eastern section of the parking lot that is located to the south of Atkin and Colby Halls is the site of this new facility and will be closed for construction in mid-fall 2008. Conversations are currently underway between Facilities Planning, Architectural and Engineering consultants in the design phase of the project.
