Description

Hancock Stadium is used to support the University and community athletic programs and special event activities. The primary surface of the playing area of Hancock Stadium was covered with artificial turf which had continued to deteriorate and presented significant problems both in the routine maintenance and quality of the playing surface. The turf manufacturing warranty and services were no longer available due to the original company going out of business.

Highlights:

  • Hancock Stadium Turf Replacement project has been inspected and is substantially complete effective June 13, 2007, except for the access road and minor repair work. The stadium has received a brand new artificial turf surface and underground drainage system and now is ready to use for the upcoming football season.
