Haynie Hall is the second residence hall tower to be addressed by the University Long Range Plan for Housing and Dining. Located in West Campus, it is one of eleven high rise residence hall buildings on campus. Haynie Hall is a 12 story structure constructed in 1964, before renovations it housed approximately 420 students.
Haynie Hall Renovation Project addressed the deficiencies of the building's mechanical, electrical, and fire alarm systems. The renovation will also include the installation of new sprinklers, roofing system, and entry canopy.
Renovations to Haynie Hall began immediately after the 2005 commencement and was completed in the fall of 2006.
