Description

The South University Street Parking Garage serves the parking needs of the south district of campus. This project will construct a new three-story, 500-space parking deck adjacent to the existing South University Street Parking Garage. New garage's facade will be designed to blend with the other university buildings. The construction is anticipated in 2008.

Update:

This project will begin in early summer 2008 with the demolition of the University Street Tennis Courts. Illinois State Athletics teams will continue their seasons at the new tennis courts on Gregory Street. Vehicle access to the existing portion of the parking garage will be maintained throughout the construction of the expansion project. Please note that there is the possibility of periodic disruptions to both car and foot traffic in the area for the duration of this project.
