Description

The Life Safety Improvement Project for Stevenson and Turner Halls will begin during the summer of 2007. The project will consist of three phases and the buildings will be partially occupied during construction.

The first phase includes upgrades to the third and fourth floors of Stevenson Hall. Beginning of summer 2008, the second phase will upgrade the first floor, second floor, and the basement. The third and final phase will be the upgrade to Turner Hall beginning of summer 2009.

The primary intent of this project is to correct problems with the life safety systems and upgrade the mechanical and electrical systems for these two classroom and office buildings.

The project will also bring both buildings into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements and infrastructure deficiencies.
