Wilkins Hall was constructed in 1962 and is located in West Campus. It is 12 stories tall and houses approximately 420 students in a mix of single and double rooms. Wilkins Hall renovation project is the first residence hall to be renovated as part of the University's Long Range Plan for Housing and Dining. The renovations are to address the outdated and troublesome mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and to replace all of the building's exterior windows and doors with new energy efficient products. Construction for these renovations started in August 2004 and were completed in July 2005.
