College Avenue at Main Street will be closed.

• There will be a press release soon announcing the closure will be during the week of July 13.

A portion of University Street will be opened.

• University Street between Dale and Osage Streets was closed due to a water main break at the underground utilities connection to the new plant. The contractor is currently working to resurface and blacktop this area. (see photo below) Therefore, the street will be opened to vehicular traffic sometime this afternoon, July 1, 2009.
• 

Intersection of Dry Grove and University Street will be closed.

• The piping contractor, Stark Construction, informed us the intersection of Dry Grove and University Streets will be closed starting on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 and will reopen by the end of Friday, July 3, 2009. At that time, Dry Grove Street will be opened and available to vehicle traffic. The contractor encountered an unforeseen condition with existing underground utilities that has delayed the start of excavation through the intersection of Dry Grove and University Streets. Upon completion of that area, the contractor will proceed north and tie into the vault located Fairchild and DeGamo Halls. The vault work is expected to be completed in two days. Please be advised and plan accordingly.
